Jozani Forest & Dolphin Watch Trip W/ Transfer - Zanzibar
Set out on an exciting tour to Jozani Forest, located about an hour from Stone Town, and discover one of Zanzibar’s most pristine natural environments. Walk beneath a canopy of ancient trees and follow a wooden boardwalk through serene mangrove swamps. As you explore, keep an eye out for the endangered red colobus monkeys—unique to the island and often seen leaping between the trees. This guided forest walk offers a peaceful and informative glimpse into Zanzibar’s diverse ecosystem.
After exploring the forest, travel through the lush countryside to the coastal village of Kizimkazi. Here, you'll board a small motorboat (up to six people) and head into the open sea in search of wild dolphins. While dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, there's a good chance you’ll spot them, and swimming alongside them may be possible depending on the conditions. Either way, the boat ride and the possibility of encountering these playful marine animals will be a highlight of your journey.
